SAT United States History

SAT subject - United States History assesses the knowledge and ability of the candidate to use material commonly taught in U.S. History and social studies courses in high school. The test is of one-hour duration.

Purpose: SAT subject test in US History measures the comprehension of United States History from pre-Columbian times to the present as well as basic social science concepts, methods and generalizations as found in the study of history.

Format: SAT subjects Test in United States History follows the following given format.

  • 90–95 multiple-choice questions.
  • Questions cover political, economic, social, intellectual, cultural history and foreign policy.
