Students, who take admission in BMRSc course of CMC Vellore are trained in all aspects of Medical Records functioning through theory classes, postings in the different areas, projects and seminars. Foundation courses in anatomy, physiology and biochemistry help these students to understand the functioning of the human body and to use this information in the management of charts in hospitals. The duration of the course is 1 year.

Educational Qualification

Pass in a bachelors degree examination (Arts / Science / Commerce) of any University accepted by the syndicate of the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University.

Written test : The written test for admission into BMRSc course comprises of one Common paper (non science).

The centre of examination for BMRSc entrance offered by CMC Vellore is Vellore only.
