Students of biochemistry learn about the chemistry, molecules, and chemical processes necessary for life to exist. They will learn about substances like carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and the nucleic acids that make up the genetic code. MSc Biochemistry is offered by CMC (Christian Medical College) Vellore. The College is open for admission to the MSc Courses in Biochemistry for both men and women students. The duration of the MSc Biochemistry course is 3 years.

Educational Qualification
BSc (Bachelor of Science) degree examination with Chemistry or Biochemistry as the main subject or equivalent as accepted by the syndicate of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M G R Medical University

Written test : A written test for admission into MSc Biochemistry is conducted every year by Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore.

The entrance test centre for MSc program in Microbiology is Vellore only.
