PG Diploma in Dietetics is offered by CMC (Christian Medical College) Vellore. The course is in-service type and is planned to inculcate in students the art and science of diet therapy, fundamentals of organisation and management of food services in Hospitals and related institutions and Applied Nutrition. Emphasis is given to Clinical Dietetics and Management of food service in hospitals.

The duration of course is one year followed by 6 months internship.

Educational Qualification

Eligibility criteria for admission into PG Diploma in Dietetics is B.Sc. in Home Science or B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Written test :A written test comprises of one Special paper is held by CMC (Christian Medical College) Vellore.

The centre of examination for admission to PG Diploma in Dietetics is Vellore only.
