(Faculty of Medical Sciences) The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET) for admission to Under-Graduate courses, i.e. MBBS and BDS will be held on Wednesday, 18th May 2005 at Delhi. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form.
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Female candidates belonging to Schedule Caste (SC)/Schedule Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows & Wives of Armed & Para Military Personnel (CWWAPP) category who have passed qualifying examination from Indian Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for admission to Lady Harding Medical College. The condition of studying 11th and 12th class from a school situated with the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates. The application form along with Bulletin of Information is obtainable from the office of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi, in the following manner:
The application form along with BOI can also be obtained, by hand only, from Lady Harding Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences. Applications duly filled in and complete in all respect should reach to the Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 on or before the last date. Notes: 1. The candidate should mention his/ her name and address at the back of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque. The candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque. 2. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
