Annamalai University offers two years Master of Engineering Program in different engineering disciplines. The admission to the programs / courses is made through an entrance examination conducted by Annamalai University. The duration of the course is two years i.e. four semesters.

The candidates, who underwent the degree course under a Part-time scheme, should possess two years of professional experience after passing the B.E. degree examination to apply for M.E. program. And such candidates must be residing within a radius of 75 km from Annmalai University. The application of these candidates should be sent through their employers.

Important: In all the above mentioned programmes, the candidates, who underwent the degree course under a Part-time scheme, should possess two years of professional experience after passing the B.E. degree examination.

The admission is restricted to those working or residing within a radius of 75 km from Annamalai University. The application should be sent through their employers.

Candidates who have passed Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination will be eligible to get a stipend up to Rs.2,500/- per men sum from University Grants Commission (UGC) depending on the performance in M.E./ M.Tech. Examination.

Selection to the M.E. Full Time / Part Time program offered at Faculty of Engineering – Annamalai University is based on Entrance Examination.

Date of Examination: The entrance examination is generally held in the month of July.

Centre of Examination: The center of examination for M.E. entrance test is Annamalainagar only.

Generally, the last date of submission of application form for M.E. entrance examination is June.
